Default tuner fears

Want to start a thread about tuners seems like alot of people are on the fence of getting one with fear of damaging/ loss of warranty. I myself have had tuners on all my trucks. So list your tune you run and how many miles on your vehicle running it and if you have had any issues. Il start 5* 87 performance tune I have 8300 miles on my vehicle and ran the tunes for 7500 of them with zero issues.

I'm leaning toward a tuner. Since my lift the mpgs dropped would like to recoupe some of that and lost power to. Are they really worth it on a stock truck?

Well if u have a lift with a larger tire it will def help you get any loss of power and it will correct your speedometer.

So the tuner can do that? Thought you had to have Ford recalibrate the speedo.

A tuner will most definitely correct the speedo. And the next poster is correct; Ford dealer can only calibrate to the stock sizes on your model vehicle.

And for all of those that are afraid to tune because of their warranty, here is a solution: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/stage-...tuning-261449/

Also, I am also 5 Star tuned (only 87 performance/tow so far) for about 1,500 miles and no issues. I love it. So much better than stock and a lot more fun to drive with bigger tires. I'm going to try the 93 performance/tow here in the next week or so.
