yup. my first upload of the tune, where it stored the stock tune to memory first, took almost an entire hour. the sct shows % completed as you go as well as if it's loading the ECM or TCM. I would suggest a custom tune with any modifications on the engine. the canned tunes could run lean.
TCP, I plan on doing a SCT4 with 87 and 89 performance/towing tune...and economy. My truck is a 5.4 Lariat 4wd. If you know, will it work the same on mine....give it more time to load? I have already added my CAI by S&B...cat back coming after my level. old princess runs pretty good, but it is my weekend driver and hunting truck, but it would like a little more sound and GO.
