Default Tune/Exhaust/CAI on 2013 ecoboost

Have any of you done the following and actually got better than 20mpg? I read a few people have on some forums, but just wanted to check here as well. Let me know what your experiances are.

I was going to do the following;
Livernois Tune
Airraid CAI
Borla S-Type Exhaust

You will affect your gas mpg more by HOW you drive and size of tires/lift if any then adding performance parts like tune, intake and exhaust.

That being said, adding those three things will make a world of differnce in how the truck drives! Be a lot more fun for sure.

Yeah, I know the basic "how you drive." I am pretty conservative. I was more curious if it would help any. There will be no lift and I use all season tires. Mainly highway miles.

Plus, get a little extra "umph" when I want it

I don't put the exhaust or CAI on either of the EB's I've owned. Doesn't make enough difference in performance or sound to justify the cost for me.

Tune has not really changed the MPG's my truck gets. It gets 21-22mpg at freeway speeds and gets 16-17 in the city and stop and go driving. That has dropped slightly with the colder weather and winter blend fuels, but not much at all.

The performance change is huge but the MPG change is negligible.

That depends! I got better gas mileage with my big heavy Trail Grapplers because I didn't drive it hard at all. Now with stock tires back on for the winter I can't help but feel like I fly around.

I never really saw no difference with the sct, heartthrob and afe intake but I kinda had already had added a level when I added these parts so I never saw a difference of 17 or 18 mpg average, but the huge trail grapplers I saw a difference down to 14 or 15 mpg but you could fly on them stock tires. when it came to the bigger tires you can still turn them.

Most tuners will say 5-10% better mpg.... I personally have never seen an increase with exhaust and intake. But with a tune and the right driving style i have seen 10% increase on the highway.

I don't have an Ecoboost but my 5.0 once I put on a Airaid CAI and Exhaust I noticed the throttle response was much better and gas mileage went up about 1 or 2 mpg. I would imagine it would be iffy with the Ecoboost.
