Default Which tune is the best for 5.0 trucks?

I'm really close to pulling the trigger on a couple 5 star tunes. I've heard they're the best. And with a 87 octane tune with exhaust and Cai they're pushing 320ish to wheels on 2011-14 trucks. With boss 302 manifold they're pushing about 340 I believe. But I've also been seeing mpt a lot.

And - when they finally release PR-X for the 11-14 platform, watch out.

New tuning methodology - introduced fer the 15+ platforms first. Hopefully to be trickled down to the 11-14 MY's.

Its what MPT calls their super duper panty dropper tune. I think it stands for Performance Race Xtreme or something.

Lol. I looked it up the other day. Its on their website for the 15+. Honestly, not much changed for the 5.0 in 2015 for tuning. So really its clever marketing to make the 15+ crowd feel special instead of using the same old nomenclature they used on the older 11-14 stuff.

I just got 5Star 87 perf/tow and have an AFE Stage 2 CAI and Flowmaster exhaust. As others have said, turns into a completely different truck. Much more responsive and shifts a lot better too. Totally worth the money IMHO.
