OP. You can start with a canned tuned but a custom tune is what you really want. It will account for a specific intake, exhaust and other mods. The tuner itself is handy as you can adjust for things such as tire size.

Welcome Kenny7231 to the forum, one of the best forums in all honesty, there is such a great amount of information here and everyone is pretty welcoming.

So you've picked up a 3.5L Ecoboost F150 I am guessing? If so, fantastic. As squidpocalypse kindly mentioned, custom tuning will deliver much more power and torque compared to just a canned tune. We offer custom tunes and our customers are very happy with what we can get out of their trucks, safely I might add. Power and torque are wonderful but you have to make sure you're making power safely so reliability isn't impacted.

We do that by adjusting multiple factors, torque management, shift points, timing, throttle response to name a few.

Peak gains are 69 RWHP and 88 RWTQ. Max gains are much more around 104 RWHP / 114 RWTQ!

I have attached a dyno chart for you to have a good look at, we also have some videos on YouTube should you want to have a look at them too.

If we can help with anything or if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Cheers!
