Default trying to find out which leveling kits allow the 295/70-18's to rub.

If you have 295/70-18's post which leveling kit you have in the front and rear....and if you rub anywhere. Also say if you are on factory or aftermarket wheels. Trying to find out which leveling kit makes them rub.

I hear ya..i've spent hours on here and some guys with stock wheels rub and others don't...I get the difference with the back spacing options with the after market wheels..hard to believe that one 2.5 leveling kit will rub and others won't.

I assume you are looking at the terra's or trials with the 295/70 18's..have you looked at the Toyo Open Country tires? they have a 285/70 18 which measures 34.1 over all...haven't seen anyone on here with stock wheels with rubbing issues with a 2 inch on up kit with these tires..just a thought

i had the exact same problem. i originally ordered 295/70/18 trail grapplers because i had seen many people on here fit them on stock wheels and a level. i had them put on and the tire shop said they were a no go, they were in constant contact with the upper control arm. i ended up with 275/70's which i love, but i still always wish the 295's would've worked, and how they fit on other people's trucks but not mine...

I will be trying this setup this week, and we will see if it works on my 2011 Fx4 screw. I am preatty confident that it will work with the 2in autospring kit i have coming. If for some reason the rubbing is to bad, i will be switching to a 2.5 kit for the front and a add a leaf or 3in block for the back.

Heres a pic of the 295's next to my stock truck.

BobbyVA-yea even some people are clearing the nittos with a 2" lift. 34.4 is the height of the nittos, 34.1 would make a difference...

Its not the height of the tire thats making them rub, its the width. This size is only 11.4 wide, and mounted on the stock 7.5in wide wheels it will make them narrower as this is the minimum rim size. Aftermarket wheels with any wider width would prob make this size rub on the control arm in the front. And the subsaquant offset of the aftermarket wheels would make them rub on the back of both wheel wells. With a 2in front level and stock wheels(18s) i think they should fit with no rubbing.

Quick Reply: trying to find out which leveling kits allow the 295/70-18's to rub.
