I wish. HID's are too finicky for me. I see a lot of big rigs with LEDs now so maybe we'll get them someday. I think Grote makes some as well.

Popular with the Jeep Wrangler crowd. Not cheap.

Very good on the Harley, have had a few different types both heads and shoulders above conventional HID lights. Here is a comparo. Nice to have on a truck, life or death difference on a bike for night riding. Wont let me attach the doc as its too big but the link is on 3rd post down, little long but very thorough.

Ive been contemplating that as well and would love to retrofit a set for someone. My guess it would be a while before the price comes down to a reasonable amount and a retrofit component set to integrate in our lights. Cadillac makes led heads on their escalade platinums already, as well as the audi R8. Only main problem I foresee is keeping the LEDs cool inside our headlight housing, those heats sinks need to be in free air.

LED's burn cooler than HID's and halogens. Unless I'm missing something with these larger systems.

Not much cooler at that light output.

I have a 500lm flashlight (Olight M20S-X) with a XML led and that's brighter than any headlight but it does get hot after a couple of mins.

Had a set of Trucklite LEDs for my 07 Wrangler...they were amazing. Same lights we use in the military.

Wish we could get LEDs for the F-150s, i am a huge supporter of LEDs. Much much brighter than halogen and their life is much much longer.
