I could have swore when I first bought my '12 FX4 almost two weeks ago that the gauge cluster had BLUE / WHITE back lighting, took it in for window tint and some other parts to be swapped last week and everything is now RED?

I've seen 2011 dash pics online that are the white/blue color, and 2012 that are red.

Is this changeable, am I just dreaming this up?

I think the red gauges are included in an option package on the FX4's??? BTW, I like the blue gauges better.

haha...you bought the truck drove it around...then took it in for a service and now believe the dash lights changed colors? Forgive me for laughing. Not trying to be a dick but thats a little funny. I thought I read somewhere that the 2012 models went to the red. Maybe you remember seeing the blue on a 2011 that you test drove??? I personally like the blue ones. A little bummed to see they changed to red. Im hoping to buy new real soon...I dont want to buy a 2011 just for gauge color but damn they looked good in blue....

I did drive a used 2011 the same day I bought my 2012, must have been that...

Oh well.

Sounds like something I would do But damn...to drive it around for two weeks only to notice they are different afterwards? Thats funny ****! lol

When I took it back in, Had only been driving it a few days. Anyway now I really want the blue...

Lot's of other stuff to get done before I tear into the dash of a new truck though.

The FX package on the 2012's has the red gauges. You must have remembered a different truck. But that's funny.

My '11 has the blue gauges. Personally, I kinda wish I had the red gauges. But I also wish I had a 2012 too so my envy is uncontrollable.

When you say the FX package, do you mean any FX4 or an FX4 with an optional package like the FX4 luxury package.

Settled my lemon law case against Ford and trying to go from a 2011 to a 2012 and there are no XLT's like I want in the area. There is a white FX4 but I really like the blue gauges in my XLT. Red may be too distracting.

All 2012 FX4's have red gauges, appearance package or not. I like the red and it looks sharp with the FX4 logo.
