I was able to take one apart, but busted the other one trying to take it apart, so it only has one latch now, but it at least locks. Other than the door being a little tweaked, it looks like new.
Your local dealer should have new handles in stock. Don't know your brand, but I went to me Leer dealer and I think I paid $40 for the pair.

I think I've already posted, but here's a recent shot of mine.

on my first cap, since I got it used and cheap, it did not have any keys, so pulled the old handle off and it had a number on it, I ran that number on the ole google machine and it brought up an ebay link for 2 new handles (a right and a left, both keyed alike) new rubber weather boots to keep water and crud out of the lock cyls, new gaskets, and 4 keys. for something like 20 bux. all I had to do was swap the longer "catch" lever from the old handles to the new (the new handles came with a short stubby catch lever that didnt reach on my cap) and I was good to go.

then when I traded the 04-08 cap which was a Jeraco, for the 09-14 style which was a Leer and a;lso came with no keys. I attempted to swap the new handles from one to the other, but the holes in the door of the Leer were slightly smaller and the barrel of the handle wouldn't fit. I grabbed my step drill and opened up the holes a little bit and they slid right in.

You guys that have found yours used are lucky. I have been looking for a used shell for mine well over a year. For a 2011Scab it seems near impossible. If I do find one, they want near new prices for them. If ya have any leads, shoot them my way please

I found mine on Craigslist. You have to search it every day.

Here is my topper. Looking to get rid of it though. Bought it on the truck, and don't really care for the look of it.

6.5 bed? I was hoping to find a topper like yours, but as others mentioned, there are not a lot of choices out there, most are for pre-09 trucks. All but the one I got were for the 6.5 beds, mine is 5.5. I really should post a pic of it now that I painted it to match.

Yeah. 6.5' bed. It is a really nice topper and super convenient, but I really dislike the look of it.
