Got mine there. Check it out. Nothing like camping on your truck bed, keeps the furry critters away.

I had a hunting buddy with a truck tent. At first I thought it was cool, then we had to run to town for something. Then we had to go get a deer. After a while, we got tired of the set up / tear down thing and went back to a regular ground tent. I guess it would be cool if you KNOW you will be staying in one spot until you leave. Otherwise, the ground tent is better IMHO.

Yes!! The Adventure Truck Tent! http://www.enelcompany.com/Home_Page.html I got one of these and used it for 3 years before 2 kids necessitated a travel trailer. It works awesome! We would leave it on the truck set up to head down the gravel road. If you don't go over 20km/h it's fine to leave up. It takes 5 minutes to take down if you need to. We used it in torrential downpours without a drop of water inside plus it's nice and large inside. The wife could stand up. We fit a queen mattress and a playpen inside believe it or not!! I was sad to get rid of it.
I researched before I got it and glad I got one without a floor built in. I would recommend it hands down for fit and finish and price.

Cheers

I've camped, hunted, explored with a truck cap and not a tent. Works great for 2 people max. A regular new style tent is a better choice, more flexability.

Default Adventure Truck Tent

I was just about to start a thread with this question - this forum is great!

The Addventure truck Tent from Enel looks like the best option for me...ordering one today.

Thanks!

i prefer a camper shell. all of the cargo goes on the car trailer with the jeep. I too am excited about summer in tahoe. the rubicon/fordyce trail are calling my name. plus, DFG just stocked meadow lake with trout last year. We are just about 2 hours from tahoe.

I had one of these back when I had my Chevy. It was a good tent that I used for a number of years before I sold the truck and bought my old Expy. Tent was still in great shape when I sold it on Craigslist. I'd buy another one if I didn't camp in a travel trailer now...
