Truck stolen and questions
2014 F150 lariat. 3.5 eco, was stolen and recovered, no real damage done except replacing passenger widow. Was actually stolen out of a park n ride at Atlanta airport and they more than covered losses, etc.
Two questions:
1.) I didn't even realize this piece was missing until the other day, its the cover piece that is under the main audio, climate controls, (see pic). I can not find part number or part description anywhere.
2.) they even stole my nav sd card which was A5, i bought one one on ebay that was A8 , my sync is running the latest version but on a known route it will have me turning and then shows my position like i am paralleling the rd im on and then will correct, dont know if bad card or if there is something I can do?

Glad you got your truck back. How did they start it?

Go test drive a truck same year as yours with the center console. While out, pop the trim piece off and write down (or take pic) of the PN# on the back, return truck and search the interwebs for the part number.
Can't help with the NAV problem since I have the more reliable maps on my phone and CarPlay in the truck.

Not sure if the right color. Try unplugging your battery for 30 minutes to see if it helps the nav issue.

Yeah the battery will reset the GPS and then recalibrate. Leave cable off about 10 minutes to shed residual power.
That trim piece missing is actually scary. I keep my spare key behind that piece.
Looks like maybe I'm not the only one and thieves know to check there.
Sheesh.
Good luck with getting her back to normal.
One last questions, you stated they took care of you, do you mean your insurance or the park-n-fly company?
