Question Truck in my sights!

What do you guys/gals think?

Anything I should be looking for? Can I get a better price? Would/could the current incentives go on top?

I'm a bit upside down on my trade but would like to get out for as best as I can.... Like that's news to anyone

I think you can get better than that too. IIRC when I bought my fx4 the rebates or the xlt's was almost 11k of sticker at the time. My fx stickered at just under 52k and I was around 39.5 before my trade. Keep in mind this was also closer to the end of the year when the 14's were just hitting the lots.

That was a really good deal! I just bought my 2013 FX4 ecotec that stickered for $51,000 for $40750...and I thought that was a good deal. I love my truck!

Default X-plan

I do have an x-plan pin, but have always been told that there's no negotiation when using x-plan.

I'm terrible at negotiating so any tips or advice would be great.

If you plan on using the bed of the truck I would advise a 6.5' bed. The 5.5' is just too small if you need to haul anything.

I bought at Walker Ford - shopped around and they gave me the best deal.

Remember that there are two completely separate deals going on when trading in a vehicle. They are buying a car from you and you are buying a car from them. Treat them separately. Don't let the dealer play number games transferring $ from one to the other.

That said, Walker also gave me what I wanted for my trade.

One more thing I just noticed...I thought the ecoboost was a $1095 option, and that website shows $2095???

Edit: looked at the window sticker and it shows the 5.0 - so not sure what to say.
