Dealer called and said water is getting into the powertrain control module. Going to replace it.

Where is it located? I want to check mine and see if it's showing any signs of getting wet..

No idea. I haven't seen the truck since dropping it off. I'll find out whenever I pick it up.

You got lucky I had the same problem on my 97. Took five years to discover it was the same module.

Everyone was telling me it was the supercharger mods. Then finally we proved them all wrong.

Yes please find out and let us know the location, cause mine has been having the same problems and my dealership is stumped.

Default Low Oil Pressure alarm

Bumping this because I just had the same problem today. Cruising along with other traffic at about 70mph and all the sudden a bell goes off and truck goes into what seemed a "safe mode". Couldn't accelerate and the truck slowed rapidly while I tried to avoid all the traffic around me. Pretty bad place for it to happen since I had to avoid traffic and move over 2 lanes to reach the side of the road. Proceeded to turn the truck off and quickly restart to find no alarms and everything return to normal.

Anyway, the truck is a 2011 Lariat 5.0 Screw 4X4 with 2400 miles. I checked the oil shortly after reaching home and letting it set a while to find it well within operating range. Now I'm here searching..............

Anybody have any information that might keep this from happening again? I love the truck but shutting down in traffic is unacceptable. Guess my dealer might get a call tomorrow also.

Thanks in advance! Matt
