Funny, I ran my mirror off the rear end of a Dodge caravan when it was raining. No damage and it just folded it in haha. Dodge caravans weigh a **** ton more than a pheasant....

I hear ya. I wish it would have just folded in. It did fold a few inches. But I was driving 75MPH and the air temp was a balmy -11 Deg F. I'm sure that didn't help matters much!

Keith thanks for the wiring colors too. I hope to get some time tomorrow to go to the body shop for a quote. Judging by the cost of the mirrors this will be an insurance claim...

I've seen one pheasant in my life. Hit it with my grille about 2 seconds later.

Oh man the grill would have been rough. So far looks like one mirror power mirrors manual extend no heat manual fold puddle light and turn signals runs just under $600.

Check out A1auto. They have aftermarket mirrors for half the price and they look identical.

No aftermarket for me. I've been down that road before. The quality is not there. General statement. But I had used aftermarket mirrors before and they vibrated at speed. Drove me crazy.

I wish the the quality was there. But let's face it at that price that is highly unlikely

The chrome cap is an easy swap out to your new/used mirror if you do find one. There are about 4 clips on the backside and it comes right off.

I guess the chrome does not come off and can be reused?
