I have no douche agenda I'm just saying what I feel. You've been all over the forum spouting what a POS Ford and your truck is along with your couple buddies.

By your own admission, your dad has Said a couple of times now to hang in there. He is well off for a reason and you should follow his advice but you just want out from under the truck as you feel it will never be right.

So your dad is bailing you out because the banks won't loan you money to buy another $45,000 truck. If the banks won't extend you the loan then you may not be in the best position to do so. So buying a beater will help you appreciate the $45,000 truck you have now even if it has a few little problems.

Nothing I've said was out of line. When you put yourself out there then people respond. If you don't like the responses then don't put it out there. What do you want, everyone to hold your hand and tell you it's going to be ok?

As to the lottery comparison, not even close!

Unfortunately, you are on a public forum and you should have known there was going to be some negative feedback after you wrote that your dad is lending you money replace a 2 year old truck lol. Some people will be opinionated on the subject matter and unfortunately, you did put it out there. Lesson learned- you don't need to share your personal finances with the forum, because there will always be people that judge you.

As far as getting another F-150 goes, man, I don't know if I could do it. It would be tough to buy another one if I had dealt with as many problems as you have had. I would probably have a bad taste in my mouth and look to another brand. But anyways, good luck with your search and be sure to post up your impressions of the 5.0 after having owned an ecoboost!

I'm sorry, I had to laugh at this. Have you read my thread? My truck has been to the dealer twenty times for 3-7 days at a time.

And I should put up with it because I don't deserve a money loan from someone else other than the bank? So if I were to get a loan from the bank that you wouldn't have said ****? C'mon man, don't be like this. Believe me, I can afford to pay the loan, my credit just isn't good enough to do it myself. Wow all the financial experts are out. Christ when I was 18 I was blowing my cash on weed and booze and getting laid I wish I spent it on a new truck. 40+ years later I own my own house and have successful managerial position. Stop preaching and let him enjoy, invest or spend his cash the way he wants.

Are you a *****? You're acting like one, that's for sure. Eric worked his *** off to get this truck and he got screwed over bad. He asked for a little help due do him being in a tight situation. If he just got the money and didnt have to pay it back, that's one thing. But no, this is money he will pay back in due time. You need to stop being such an *** about it and realize he wasn't given this **** with no repercussions. He earned it and deserves some sort of help.
