Got a call from my dealer. They can't find the passenger door rattle. I find that impossibru to believe, as you go over any bump and it makes a massive clunking sound, like it's loose on the door stop.

go see if they will let you take them for a drive. then you can point it out to them. i had to do this with my moms jeep once. it's funny how once you are there they can hear it.

They invited me to go drive with the SM today. He said they'll try hearing it again otherwise I'll go drive with them. The key is finding the right type of bumps.

Got the truck home. Not without drama, however. Front end noise is worse than ever and the trans randomly jumped between 5 and 6, and hard-shifted 4 times in 30 minutes. I feel that I'm probably just going to have to deal with this stuff.

Hell no. Don't settle for that. Stand in front of the dealer with a sign or something lol

Well, they said the front end noise is "new", though it sounds the same as before, but I can't feel it in the steering like I could before. They said they found the noise with a stethoscope coming from the top of the coilover. Since it's Rancho, they can't warranty it. I'll find a way to figure it out by myself, otherwise I'll be going back to stock if it happens to be the coilover. I can't stand that noise.

I think I'm going to hold off on going back to the dealer for at least a week. It's getting old. I just want to enjoy my truck for a bit, problems or not.

So lately I've been getting a loud roaring sound from the front end every time I go back to 2WD from 4HI, intermittently. Vacuum leak?

Really really want to trade it in..

Start at 1:20 and stop at 1:30 and you've got exactly how I feel about my truck in a nutshell lately.

Can't believe I paid $44k for it.
