No, it's all good man. You make some very good points. Regardless, buying a 2014 GMC right now would be stupid. Since all the dealers are scrambling to get rid of the 2013 models, they don't rebate on 2014's. So I'd be paying close to list on a truck that will be heavily rebated come spring time.

Eeeeeeeww those wheel wells.
However, the rest of the truck doesn't look too bad.

No. That's the double cab. The backseat in the crew cab GMC doesn't have as much space between the front and rear seats, but it's also more reclined back and has a bit longer thigh support. Legroom is similar.

It's not bad really. I guess trucks have evolved into the shape that supposedly we all want. I don't remember them asking me though. Wait a second, just buying one is a vote for how they look. Not that I personally have ever bought a Chevy because I haven't, but not because of anything wrong with them. Just preferred something else.

Not bad looking but I've owned a GM product, they were just as bad as Ford, never again on that one.

This is one smart individual. HardcorFXfour I'm kinda of relived in a way that trading your truck in now would be a huge hit for you on a 14 GM / GMC truck. Check this gem out this guy didn't even get his 14 off the lot and his CEL came on plus a host of other things. Another 43 pages of OMGWTF the issues I see here make Ghostinthemachine issues look like a walk in the park. At the very least read the OPs first post.

I will say one thing though the GM posters on that site are very friendly and nice but what disturbed me is how some of them have drank the GM kool-aid and think issues like these are acceptable and give them a chance to make things right.....I would be postal. Interesting read if you have some time:

Some of them have drank the cool aid, look at this forum man it is pathetic some people actually believe Ford or GM gives a sh@t about them as customers. It is only a matter of time before anyone will get an issue and BAM the dealers and manufactures will leave you hanging if they can figure it out. But however they will offer to sell you another car at a discount, wink wink.

I haven't finished the story yet but right away with less than 10 miles it throws a code. Its hard to believe the CEL wasn't one when they pulled it into its spot on the lot to sell it, don't you think? They HAD to know it was coding and still sold it. Back to the story......

Im up to page 8 now. A few things I notice so far, 1) that kid has brains 2) they are indeed nice people and very respectful on that forum 3) the dealer really should be very pissed about a problem like this, if it was my dealership and I was selling GM trucks to my customers you bet it would be top priority with me.

THE STORY REALLY IS A POT BOILER. I cant wait to finish it.
