I get sad when I switch it to the "Truck Apps" and there...one...app

No this is different. My XLT has the compass display on the right hand top corner of the screen in my instrument cluster regardless of what chosen screen whereas its displayed on the MFT in the FX4. However the XLT has a compass that is a picture of the truck that turns ( or the direction letters move.... your choice) and the FX4 does not. It's one over from the transmission temp screen. So the XLT has 2 compass read outs technically. It's just an additional screen that I never use and it may very well be because of trim difference. But being the FX4 is the supposed "off road" model you would think it would have this truck picture/ compass display and not the XLT.
It's probably just random.
