Truck acting weird while accelerating

Hi I have a 2012 5.0 XLT and I started having problems with the truck.
When I'm driving and i hit the pedal to the floor and i get to a speed of 70MPH the transmission starts to żlurch? or hesitate? i dont know the exact word because i speak spanish but basically it feels like the truck tries to go faster but the transmission wont let it so it feels like moving back and forth like 3 or 4 times (4 seconds) and then it feels like the whole power is released and then you can get to top speed with no problem. Has anyone have had that issue? any ideas of where should I start looking? I live in Mexico and I don't trust not even a little bit the dealers here, they are always trying to avoid doing warranty repairs. I appreciate any help!:)

Actually, I know exactly what you mean (and I guarantee that your English is one whole heck of a lot better than my Spanish LOL). Not sure if this is what you experience, but if I'm driving at WOT (wide open throttle) it's fine; but if I'm slowly accelerating, around 70MPH it almost feels kinda like the torque converter's doing what it does around 40MPH or so - back and forth a few times.

Are you using a quality gas? Could be bad gas if you are using the cheap stuff.

I starded using cheap gas for like 3 weeks then the problem appeared and then i switch back to good quality gas for the last 2 or 3 weeks but the problem hasn't stopped

You must have an Ecoboost because soooo many people have told me the problems are with the Ecoboost only and the 5.0L are fine.

disconnect the battery and reset to factory default. leave the battery disconnected for 30 minutes or follow the you tube video for discharging using a jump wire between the + and - battery cables after removing from the battery. this drains off any stored voltage. transmission relearns factory settings, do this before taking back to the dealer
