Tread Wright tires

Wow. Kedge grip. Ground walnut shells and crushed glass mixed with the rubber. I suspect that fillers in the rubber have a negative impact on treadwear... I'd be interested to hear from anyone running these.

For around town use and the trail I'd probably give them a try but not for long commutes/trips. I dunno I was just always taught that tires and brakes aren't something you skimp on... Although semi-trucks use retreads all the time...who knows... Maybe a guinea pig will surface soon...LOL!

On my second set on a 96 Dodge 1500. Wear is about as even with any new tire that I have ran ! The Kelg grip will wear faster, but are nice on ice !
A friend of mine in sales runs them on a 1 ton 7.3.
There is a lot of positive feedback by the jeep world if you care to do a little digging ?

The MT on my 02 dodge diesel dually. Was running a Detroit NoSpin rear diff. at the time. Tires were excellent in construction. Had all seven with matching carcass's.
Well worth the money.

I have not used them in a few years but I have run to mud tires on a few of my trail trucks the quality was good and they were great off road. I would recomend them to anybody for off road use and limited on road travel. Their services was great too. I did have some treat separation on one of the tires and I had a replacement within 2 business days after I sent them pictures.
I don't know about the AT style tire but if you do a lot of on road driving I would stay away from the MT's. Those things screamed like a banshee at 70mph. Road noise was crazy on them and the bigger you go the harder they will be to balance.
