Default transmission gear shift number indicator

How do I get the tranny shift numbers to show up in the LCD window in Drive? They show up in (M) Manual but not in (D) Drive.

Push the plus(+)sign on your shifter handle, push it again to turn them back off.

haha no you can only lock them out from the top down. so you can lock out just 6th, 5th and 6th, 4th 5th and 6th, and so on. towing / off roading really seem to be the only practical use. Maybe hill climbs or descents if you live in a hilly area to prevent constant shifting or using your brakes constantly on the down hill

I just hit the tow/haul button going down hills - works pretty good.
