Default New to the Ford Family my 2010 F-150 XLT

So I have long been a chevy kinda guy, I had a Chevy Camaro for my first car, I have had a Pontiac Grand Am (meh its still GM), and my latest Vehicle was an 2008 Equinox my wife and I decided to buy a Truck to tow a camper this summer when we go camping after some searching I ended up with a 2010 Ford XLT SCrew its silver with the towing package, Chrome, and sync you can view my window sticker here

I had my financing when I went in to look at it ended up getting it for 23,000 with my trade and I love it. I wish I would have gotten one sooner! Anyway just wanted to say hello here are some pics from the dealer website

thanks GA I figure I will give it to my son in a few years and upgrade to a 4x4 in whatever year model happens to be around at the time. Although I usually like buying a year old truck for the savings

Congrats, I also bought a year end model in January and glad I did. I saved about $4000 over a 2011 that had a lower tow rating and was able to get the F150 for only $1000 more than what I paid for my previous 2008 Sport Trac V8! I have the X-plan on both vehicle but F150 rebates are the best I've seen anywhere!

I'm having the Ford OEM Telescoping Tow Mirrors and Ford OEM Integrated Trailer Brake Controller installed when they come in.

Be happy you have your 3.55 with the tow package as it gets great mileage. I passed on the 3.73 gearing with the Max Tow package originally for better mpg. Then I second guessed myself and was wishing I got it until I seen most with the 3.73 gears get about 2 mpg less than I do. With gas prices right now at $4.17/gallon, that saves 2 mpg better saves me about $40 - $50/month as I drive 2,000 miles/month.

Very nice truck!

Very nice truck!
This truck is getting great gas mileage compared to my father silverado better than I expected about 18 mpg in town and 22 on the highway. The only thing my truck is missing is dual air but for the price I couldn't beat it
