Transmission Cooler Installation - how to? Video?
Afternoon Ford Nation!
After being a sworn Ram guy for years, Fiat/Chrysler pissed me off and I’ve now joined the Ford team with a 2011, 5.0L XLT Supercrew with 55,000 miles. I really like this truck but, “dang gone it”, no tow package on it! I’d to add a trans cooler, I have the mounts on front of radiator, but no cooler. Thinking of going aftermarket or OEM, not sure which is best. My questions are these:
transcoolers to stay away from? Which are recommended?
Any reference material or videos/pics or steps folks have taken with adding a transcooler to their 2011 trucks?
i see videos on replacing them, but none on adding them to the F150 for this generation and engine/Transmission.
yes, I’m a visual learner. Any help out there?
