Default trans temp 145F to 150F

This past April the trans on my 2011 EB dumped 6qts of trans fluid on the interstate while I was pulling a 3000lb enclosed trailer. Truck and trailer had to be towed. The dealer performed the TSB for the trans oil leaks caused by bad seals and pump. The TSB was for a specific build date period. Since the repair my digital trans temp readout is 145 to 150F no matter how long I drive it or how many miles. It's been in high 90s here lately and it sill reads 145 to 150F. I plan on going back to the dearer and talking to the trans mech that worked on it but thought someone on here might have run into this that also had the TSB performed.

Don't really know what you're looking for, but in my 2013 the trans temp runs about 200 degrees all the time, your low temps sound good.

My concern is the temps seem to low compared to what they were running prior to the TSB fix which were always in the 183 to 195 range and that seems to be the temps others see with their trucks. Either I'm getting false readings from the ecm or a thermostat or some other kind of temp control feature is staying open all the time and not allowing the fluid to warm up to it's optimal operating temp. Ford says it needs to be at or above it's optimal operating temp for best wear performance and fuel mileage which is above 170F according to the info I have been able to find. My only reason for my post was to find out if anyone else has experienced this after the TSB was performed.

OldGuy, my trans temp always seems to be at 195 and I don't tow anything! Id say your isnt reading temp properly, as you already assumed... I haven't had the TSB as you have though...

Maybe it's possible that when they repaired the transmission they forgot to put the t-sat back in? Or maybe it's in there but it's stuck open. Those are the only things I can think of. Mine runs 190F-200F regardless of ambient temp.
