Default Tranny Question

I have an 09 Platinum Screw with 12K miles. This morning on my way to work I was stuck in a boat load of traffic due to an accident. Complete stop and go for 10 miles. When I would brake the tranny would shift to 1st gear. When it did this the who truck would vibrate and or shake.

I have read a few posts about tranny issues but I havent come across this one or I havent looked hard enough.

Is there a fix/TSB for this.

yes, the slow 1 - 2 and hard 2 - 1 shift is a problem with the transmissions. There is a flash they can do for it. It does start the learning process on your transmission all over though...

when mine is cold, if you are light on the gas it will launch from 1-2. It almost pauses then lurches forward.

There is a flash for multiple tranny problems. I havn`t had time to get mine done yet so can`t comment on if the flash fixes these issues or not.
My truck will be going in next week, hopefully they will get this tranny shifting properly.

Hello fellow Minnesotan. Take a look at my post for TSB info on 2009 F-150: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/tsbs-link-listing-51356/
