Trailer Sway? WTF
Okay, so last night it was snowing pretty good. I was in 4 High with TC/RCS turned off (i know it turns back on over 35mph). Now i'm on a on-ramp to the highway, full throttle and the back end was a little floaty but nothing scary. It was going the direction i wanted without concern. As i'm almost at the top of the ramp at about 65mph the truck cut power, I look down and it said "trailer sway control active" or something like that. As quickly as it came on and killed power it went back off, the whole time my foot is still planted wide open.
The truck was empty except for me, no trailer connected obviously...So W.T.F. ?? Maybe was the slight back and forth motion from low traction enough to trigger this?

Probably was, unfortunately you have to turn it off at every start if you want it off,(trailer sway)
I don't know why the hell they designed it like that.

On my 2014 the trailer sway can be turned off in the setup menu and it stays off . But the traction control and advancetrac dont stay off though once you turn the truck off and start it again.

Could it be you have crap in the trailer connector?

It was snowing pretty good, on-ramp, full throttle, back end was a little floaty, about 65mph. I think I see what the problem might be. Do you suppose that your driving nanny saved you from a wipeout?

Maybe it mimicked it enough to think it was swaying but I didn't think it cut power only started applying opposite brake of the sway to bring it back? Maybe it was really your TC and somehow you got the message. It sounds way more like traction control kicking in.
