Default Trailer Receptacle Relocation

I recently damaged my trailer plug-in by trying to hookup lonewolf style (no backup camera). I bashed the plugs in pretty good, even bending the metal plate and broke some welds as well...
Ended up just relocating the thing higher up on my bumper. I think it turned out alright so I thought I'd share.

I like the stock location better. Thats where Chevy and Dodge mounts theirs to the bumper... I prefer them were Ford put them... But I dont tow. So its not a issue for me...

Anyone wonder if that mod is possible on an 07 unit? I've ripped mine off twice in the mountains here in BC. The receptacle is $50 a pop, I'm just luck I's still able to tow the trailer home after. The stock location has to be the dumbest location for anyone that uses the 4x4 feature on anything but snow covered black top!!

X2! I may do this on mine as a preventative measure.
