trading in my 2010 king ranch for 11-12 eco boost/6.2?
Hey guys I'm new to this forum I have a 2010 f150 king ranch with about 56k on it. And iv been looking into the eco boost and the 6.2 mainly for power wise. I use it for towing a boat and my mustang to the track. Iv test drove the 6.2 and it moved out pretty nice still waiting on test driving an eco boost. You guys think it would be a good Idea to trade my truck in for one of these I'm just looking for more power and honestly I really dont like to maintnance the king ranch leather other then those 2 things I love the truck. If I do go with either one I'd like to mod up lightly like a tune intake and exhaust nuthing too crazy. What do u guys think I should do?

I think you should keep your truck unless you wanna lose your shirt by trading in your 2010 KR that you won't get more than $22k for with that kinda mileage.
It's your money.

Retired and loving it!
Do you have the Max Tow on your 2010? If not, it might pay you to change your gears to the 3.73's........of course, this is coming from someone who DID trade in his 2010 XLT for a 2012 EB......but I also wanted to move UP to the Lariat Plus and have the leather, floor shifter, AC seats, NAV, better stereo, etc.....it was not just for the towing power, but you will also simply not believe how well the EB tows compared to the 5.4....
If a dealer near you has an EB demo, you might ask if you can hook up what you tow and go for a 50 mile drive. That might REALLY help you make up your mind.........

What kind of tune/intake could I get for my truck. How much power will I get out of it
Iv only had this truck for 10 months and I'm really tempted to trade it in for a really nice fx4 eco boost or a white platinum with a 6.2. I really like my truck but I messed up getting it with so much miles at 52k.

You're going to lose even more money trading it in now. It doesn't hurt to see how much it will cost you to get a new truck. I think an ecoboost would be best for your needs. 6.2 is uneccessary unless you just want a V8.
Most people on here like 5 star tune. Look into one of those

I do want a v8 but the eco boost really moves out from what iv read. I have a couple of months to see what I wanna do since they have really good deals at the end of the year.

We need more information to give you good advice. Such as;
* How often do you tow, is the truck also a daily driver?
* What is the weight of the rigs you are towing?
* Do you tow on mostly flat roads, hills or mountains, or a mix?
* What is the rear end gear ratio of your truck?
* What did you pay for your truck?
All that said, unless you bought this truck for a great price, you would be better off keeping it and modding it if really needed. There are a lot of nice 5.4 mods out there, and it's a pretty darned good engine.
