trading for GMC Sierra
Ok, gotta be honest, I stuck my toe in the water. . . test drove a new Sierra. I really like the look. Got a somewhat fair offer to my truck. . . .then I realized that I have designed same truck, white, crew, 4wd, tan interior, heated / cooled seated, tonneau cover, bed mat, sliding rear window, towing package. . . and thought, IDIOT!! Keep your almost paid for truck and use that scratch for fun stuff so in the end the ole Ford stays home!! Whew. . .

The local Chevy dealer just delivered a new 2014 Chevy for my boss (company truck). It is an extended cab, 5.3 liter, leather, 8" screen, and 20" wheels. Sticker is a shade over 40k. It was honestly pretty lightly optioned for 40k in my opinion. Not that we paid that, but I didn't pay anywhere near $47,500 for my FX2 and it has a ton more options than this truck. Plus mine is a supercrew!!
One thing I did like right away. When I hopped inside, the doors shut like a vault, unlike the doors on my 2013 supercrew, which are a floppy vibrating mess lol.

Think the Silverados are pricey for what you get, wait until you see the sticker on the new Tahoes and Suburbans. I guess they have to pay those unions somehow.
"At $65,695, this Suburban's base price is $2390 more than the GL's. A Dodge Durango Citadel with a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 and AWD is only 45 grand. As optioned, this particular Suburban would set you back $71,385. Yeah, let that sink in for a minute."

My cousin went to make a deal on a bottom end 2014 silverado regular cab 4x4, basically equivalent to an XL except it had power window/locks and chrome package.
It stickered for 35k and they wanted 33k OTD!!! That's for a bottom end truck! My STX (that has more options) was 29k! Chebby has lost their mind on pricing
