What's your payload cap on the Platinum with max tow?

If you are really thinking about it, you should join the Mustang club of America ($50/year) this qualifies you for X-plan pricing, and you get to use all of the incentives currently out there on top of it....pretty attractive right now.

First of...NICE TRUCK! Congrats on your purchase and being part of the Platinum club.

Where did you get your payload numbers? The way i read it is that the payload on the truck is only 1560lbs. I have the exact same setup as you do on mine.

Edit: Ok I thought I read this somewhere...on the door jam is DOES say the maximum weight of items and passengers is not to exceed 1550 lbs. (due to all the add ons like amp power steps etc.)

I don't have that sticker...must be a heavy sticker to reduce YOUR payload capacity LOL

Yes you do. Open up driver's side door and look at the jamb. Looks like this:

Which gas tank did you get, 26 or 36 gals? I would want the 36 gal. Did you order it? I may have to wait for a 2014, I'll never find one like yours on a dealer lot so I'll have to order. I need max tow and power folding/telescoping mirrors.
Thanks for the info.
Oh, by the way, nice truck

Yep got the 36 gallon tank. had the 26 on the '11...Other options were power sunroof, Max Tow with mirrors, Tailgate Step,Spray in bed liner, and electronic locking 3.73 rear axle. I didn't order it per se, I was going to order one but this one had already been ordered by the dealer and was "on the way"...4 1/2 weeks later it showed up finally. Having trouble posting the Maroni (window) sticker in pdf format right now. MSRP was $55075. They did have a couple of Limiteds on the lot that were less expensive, but didn't have max tow and had 22" wheels. I needed 20's because I already have studded snow tires for winter.
The only thing missing from this truck that was a "really want" were the skid plates. I thought I'd just buy those when it arrived, they were only a $160 factory option, but I've since learned it will cost about $800 to order the parts from the dealer. Those are going to have to wait till I come back from vegas in October.
So far I have already installed window vent visors, weathertech floor liners, Bullring tie downs in the "hidden" stake pockets, and rear fender liners from ford.

Yes sir!! That's the trade off for having everything added to the truck on the platinums. However...that is a loading capacity for THAT specific tire. Changing your tires to a different brand could make it slightly better or worse.
