Traction control disable?
I have a 2009 F150 fx4. Nice truck but I can hardly get down the dirt roads around me after a rain as in 4wd i cant completely shut off traction and skid control. lil sideways movement it completely cuts my power. Any programmers or an easy way to disable this? other than pulling the fuse and having no abs either and a light on my dash all the time.
Thanks!
Thanks!

if you push the trac button once for the icon to come on the dash, then release and hold again until the icon blinks.
It will disable the electronic traction control but you will have stability control still active so if you go sideways it will kick in and hit the brakes to pull you back.
To completely disable you would need a tuner to remove all electronic assistance

Yep, Can disable it all upto 56km/h by holding button. But when spinning and slipping in mud quite often tires are going faster than that..
Are there programmers that you can turn it off with? Or can a dealer program it out?
