Hi-
Sorry I did not see your post. Bought the TPMS reset tool on eBay. It was about 30 dollars. The tool works, but not with by the instructions in the owners manual. If you need help once you get the tool, let me know.

If you have a Discount Tire store nearby, they will probably do it for you for free.

After screwing with the manual instructions for over an hour, I took it to them and the guy fixed it in 2 minutes, no charge. I gave him a tip.

Yep! One of my sensors was damaged some how? That one bad sensor messed with the whole reset.

However, doing the brake pedal/ignition procedure with the reset tool worked! I read a lot of threads on here and I must not have followed them correctly. I didnt realize the brake/ignition procedure was for the 2010 model. I only thought the hazard light/ignition was the only way to put it in program mode.

Anyways, I am all set...thanks again!
Thank you from me too!!!!!! I took off my 18" stock 2011 FX4 wheels and traded them for the 20" 2011 FX4 gray wheels. The guy I got them from said they had the tpsm monitors installed. I bought the electronic activation tool from Ford and tried all day to get them to train following the instructions in the 2011 owners manual of using the hazard button procedure but it failed each time even though the correct information came up. I came to the false conculsion the guy I bought them from lied to me. Well he didn't lie and thank God I didn't call him. Luckily I found this thread about using the ignition and brake procedure and sure enough it worked!!!!!!!!!
The 2011 owners manual procedure is wrong even though using the hazard lights brings up the correct information on the screen it will not allow you to train the sensors and you get the failed message each time. There is a tremendous amount of good information on these forums.

Default not trying to beat a dead horse

Okay just so i have this correct even if you swap wheels and tires you can recaliberate the sensor for the new tire. I have the fuel throttle which are compatable witht the tpms sensors. I had the work done well i was deployed they did not put the sensors in when i got home saw this had the sensor installed the other day and the light is still on and info center flashes it. Tryed to have it relearn the sensor like the owners manual said all i did was let a lot of air out so. Just looking to get it off thanks for all the help guys

I have had 3 different sets of rims on my 2011 and they switched the TPMS every time. I have never had to reset them.

Thanks for all the points everyone! There's a lot of info that's not documented in the manual. Another really good discussion is here: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/tpms-s...2/#post2383691
