Tpms warning ??!
Hey guys,
Last week, I put my new wheels on my truck and decided not to buy tpms, I dont think it worth the price...
I knew since the beginning that I would get the light in the cluster... But what I didn'nt expect was that every 10 min. When I drive, a warning with %#^|}# noise open in the driver' screen... And I have to push the ok button on the steering wheels to turn it off... If not, it keeps going on and on...
Is there anyway to finally turn this things off ?!

Do you have your old tires and wheels? If you do then you can take the TPMS's from each wheel and make a TPMS 'container'

Get some sensors installed and train them. That's really the only fix that works. The container fix that some try doesn't always work. It shouldn't work at all considering the sensors require rotation to operate. They are designed to go into a battery save (sleep) mode when they sit. But some have had success with the container.

Yep.. No way to get rid of it. I've had mine for 2 years. Still does it. You get used to it. Mine only comes on when i start the truck or after I've driven so far it realizes it again and beeps... I did find out, from my ford dealer mechanic, that if you have the valve stem tpms.... You CAN REUSE IT. If your planning on keeping new rims on year round..Have tire shop break hem down and put your factory installed valve stems in.

I spent the extra $200 and got mine installed by 4 Wheel Parts when I ordered the wheels and tires. To me, not purchasing them or installing the old ones into the new wheels is half-assing your truck.
