Only thing thats plugged in is my
Phone charger Phone charger
and a
Glade 12v freshener Glade 12v freshener
and both have been plugged in longer than when the issue started to present itself. Drove to the farm this weekend and the issue returned but did take longer than normal for the error to come up.

Excerpted from the Ford Motorcraft TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS) document ...

More than likely your plugged-in devices + the age of TPMS batteries (they're towards the end of their life expectancy) is the souce of your issue(s). *As noted previously.

Mine only did it after an amount of driving. Maybe it was speed related, no idea. But changing what power devices go in the dash "fixed" it for me. I say dash because the power ports in the console don't seem to affect tpms.

The charger is plugged inside the center console but the freshener is plugged into the port in front of the shifter

Figured out the culprit. It was my OBD 2 port bluetooth module(forgot about it since its been plugged in so long). Everything else is plugged in now without issue.
