Default Tpms

I know this has probably been posted several times, but I cannot find it in a search...How do you change out the TPMS in a 2010 F150? I have bought a set of stock 17s/tires to replace my original stock 17s. They do not have the TPMS installed and I would like to re-use my original TPMS. Any help?

Do you have to bust down the rims?

Yep, the TPMS is inside connected to the valve stem. I know that Tire Direct recommends a rebuild of theTPMS whenever you switch to new rims. I'm not sure what is included in this kit though.

I just replaced my wheels, I bought new TPMS from tirerack. Really easy...tpms has the valve stem all in one. The local tire shop installed the tpms in a couple seconds, mounted the tires and used a program tool that took about a minute a tire and was good to go.
