Ya that and also the 50,000 mile warranty on LT and 65,000 mile warranty on P rated tires Toyo offers.

I wasn't entirely sure my tires would fit when I put the 285/75 on my truck. Having that 45/500 no regret warranty really gave me peace of mind knowing that I could just switch the tires out for one size smaller if I needed to without issue.

The only reget for me would be that I would still have to pay someone to take them off and remount plus pay shipping to send them back and shipping for a new set. This would not be an issue if someone local has them in stock. No one around here said they could get them in less than a month or two. So I ordered online.

My thoughts on mine after about 100 miles are that they ride smoother than expected, they are more quiet than expected.... they also cause the truck to be a little more sluggish than expected and fuel mileage loss may be a bit more than expected. I figure I will get used to the ever so slight sluggish feeling (I have 3.55 gears) and I hope the MPG doesnt get worse as they wear.

I also think I would have been happy with the 275/60s... I like these and they look great but they are big for a stock truck. 60's might have been the perfect balance but I am not disapointed at all.

I wonder how I will feel in a few weeks...???

I'm thinking terrible thoughts about a summer setup with XD badlands black magic wheels and OC AT/II's..That no regret warranty is appealing for someone like me who is seriously picky about tires...

Les Schwab tires here on the West Coast of the US has an exclusive with Toyo. My local Les Schwab has all sizes of the TOYO AT II's and MT's in stock so it would have been easy for me to switch tires. That was actually part of the sell to me by the salesman, "if the tires are too big, or you dont like them for any reason just bring them back within the 45 days or 500 miles and we will change them out or set you up with different tires". I was sold from there on out.

You may want to consider going to 3.73 gears with the bigger tires, I have the 3.73 gears with the 5.0L SCREW and I truck is not sluggish and my MPG is averaging 14.5 - 15. On the freeway I am seeing 16.5 - 17.2 mpg. I even hit 20 mpg coming back from Lake Tahoe last weekend, but that was with 4 hours of freeway driving.

I just picked up a 2013 FX4. It came with the Pirelle Scorpion ATR's (275/55R20), which I'm going to swap out for the Toyo's. Wanted to stay on stock rims so I'm going to stay with the stock size tire.

Thanks
Tire size 285/55R20

Yeah I didn't realize how nose high I would be with a 2.5" RC level. It's 1.5" higher front to back. I am about to order a block for the rear. Wish I would left it stock but I am in too deep now. Probably will get Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks before too long. Been hearing good things about those 5100s.
