Go with the Toyos if you want, i have heard many similar complaints to mine about the Toyos from multiple other people.

you cant go wrong with BF Goodrich or Nitto, two of your top tire manufacturers.
Nitto is made by TOYO....I found Nitto to be garbage on my Superduty.

definatly go with the toyos, ive had them all except the at2 wich i have now but will be mounted on my 13 fx4 on the 7th when i pick it up.... nitto is made in the same location as toyo but they are not owned by toyo.. the nittos tend to be the "replica" version of the toyos.. ii manage an ok tire shop and i can get any tire i would want. always reccomend the toyos.. even untill theyre bald theyre still great... quiestest and nicest wearing tires ive come across in the past 5 years

After about 600 miles on the new tires my mileage is up .4 over the Pirelli's. That's the benefit of the lame looking 275/60's.

agreed! I've had the Toyo OC MTs on several different trucks. My current 33x12.50 MTs currently have over 50k miles on them and will likely make it to at least 60k miles. I can't imagine another tire out there performing as well for me as these Toyos have.

Trust me, its not the size that bothers me, its the tread pattern. Its mild IMO and just doesn't suit me personally. In fact, if I was gonna go with that size I would have likely bought the Cooper Zeon. Might have even gone with the Terra Grappler. The AT2 tread pattern in the non-Xtreme version just doesn't look that aggressive to me.

I guess you have to go with the LT rated tires to get the aggressive tread...the AT2's look a lot better then the Toyo AT's I had a few year's back on my '04. What area are you in, I'm down in Lafourche Parish.

i got 114,000 kms out of my toyo mt's.. and sold the set for $350.. still had some tread left.. ive experimented lots with tires being in the tire industry and toyo does by far make the best quality tire. ill post pics of my 35's when the truck comes in!

Yeah even in the AT2. The Xtreme has a more aggressive tread pattern with more pronounced tread on the shoulder.

I'm in Monroe, Ouachita Parish. Headed down South this weekend though. Goin' to Nawlins this weekend. Hornets game Friday night, Dr. John at the House of Blues Saturday night, and hoping to catch the Saints whoopin' Carolina's azz come Sunday.

So awesome. I may go with this size instead of the 305/55. I currently have 275/60r20 bridgestones and I'm a little disappointed with the width. I really didn't want to go shorter, but I don't think a 1/2" is going to be noticeable.
