Toyo OC A/T II 275/65/20
Installed yesterday and initial impression is outstanding. Slight increase in road noise but you have to be paying attention to hear it. Ride is slightly stiffer however, the tire shop inflated them to only 35 psi and I will follow PawPaw's recommendation of 42-45 psi. Speedometer difference is about 6 MPH according to GPS. My speedometer has always indicated a faster speed than GPS by almost that same amount. Now the GPS shows 1 mph higher than the speedometer which I can live with easily.
The 2" increase in height is also noticeable in lower engine RPM at highway speed. The 3.73 axle is probably performing closer to 3.55 with the A/T II's but not a problem with the 5.0 engine.
Please let me know your thoughts, and a special thanks to PawPaw for his recommendations.

Thanks, and the ride is only slightly stiffer but that's probably due to the tires being at 35 psi rather than 42 to 45 psi. I'll inflate them tomorrow and see if it makes a big difference. I'm not concerned about them being stiffer since my last three trucks have all been Super Duty diesels with 10-ply's.

Actually these tires are 56 lbs each compared to the stock Pirelli's at 48 lbs so not all that much heavier. The 275 width also helps but I expect a 1 or maybe 2 mpg reduction at most. The on-board computer display shows about 1 mpg loss but that's limited since only a brief trip was done at highway speeds and on flat ground. More driving time will provide better information which I'll pass along.

I also had to inflate mine higher.
The shop that did the install used the door jamb info to inflate.
LT Tires are different. I set them to 44PSI. A little stiffer, but much nicer feel and feedback. Of course, more road noise .
You can tell there is less acceleration...you have to give it more gas to get it going.
Braking is also different, it slows down faster with lighter braking effort.
These tires are 73 lbs!.. it changes the driving experience...LOL It Feels Awsome!
The control and feedback is great. Lane changes are quick, steering is responsive.
Will my mileage suffer...I bet it will. Who cares, I drive a Truck.
But now with these Toyo's, I drive Sick looking Truck with fat *** Tires
I got the bug now... I need an exhuast...some Rigid lights...Banks Exhuast and a Road Armor bumper....

Nitto Tera Grapplers = Longest lasting AT made -- Period -- Traction is no so hot to be honest but for an assphalt assult rig they are perfect
Toyo ATs -- good tread wear and traction -- won't last as long as the Teras
Faulkin Wild Peaks -- Great all around tire that hooks up in the dirt with authority -- no experience with wear on these
BFG ATs -- Love these tires and have ran them on many rigs -- problem is on a full size after about 30,000 miles they start to ride like poop
Toyo and Nitto are one in the same.. they go to market with different distributors for both brands.. its their way of double marketing.

got mule?
Remains to be seen, these Toyo AT II's are brand new to the market with a new compound which claims longer life. It'll take a year or more to see if they live up to the hype. The Toyo's are also less expensive. Could be a push.
