Default Toyo Open Country MT Any Experience?

Hey guys,
Does anyone have experience with the Toyos? I've heard both bad and good reviews about them. I've heard of people getting upwards of 50k miles out of them with proper rotations. The tires I have now are wearing well but looking at tires for the future. Might sell these rims and tires and pickup some XD Strikes and Toyo Open Country MTs. Probably some 18x9 and 35s.
Thanks for the help.

haha so tempted to keep my 17s, in reality there are no differences really between the 17s and 18s so more than likely I will keep the 17s but really want 35s.

Once you see 35"s on your 17"s, you'll be glad you kept them. The sidewall beefiness looks badass and not everyone has them.

Seeing NWFreerider's with the 35s and 17s they look so good and with the Toyo it will look beast.

I ran 38x15.50R20 Toyo OC M/Ts on my 03. They were great! I sold the truck but the new owner is still running them. 55k miles on them. Another friend ran them on his truck as well, same size as mine and got close to 65k out of them before selling. Another friend had 35X12.50s on his F250 and also had 60K before trading it in.

I loved them, we all did. We all rotated every 3-5K and kept proper pressure in them. They weren't very loud at all, my exhaust was louder than the tires.

My current truck im running Nitto Terra Grapplers due to the size I have isn't made in the Toyo M/T. I regret not going with a different size in order to get the Toyos.

Toyo and Nitto are (owned by) the same company, so they should be about the same.

It's pretty universally unanimous over at f150online that the Toyos last the last and are the best. But I can't get them for the right price, or from Discount Tire, so I'll be getting Nittos

I've heard extremely good reviews about them and these have cemented my beliefs. These will be my next tire. The Trail Grappler and the MT are the same tire just cut differently.

Yeah, that's what i've heard. My friend works for America's Tire so maybe he can get me a quote with his employee discount.

Toyos, hands down, are the best MT out there. I recommend them to everyone coming for lifts. It's easy, they are long lasting and do well in the merky clay muck we have around here. I ran 37x13.50 and 38x15.50 on my 2005. The 37's where pulled with just over 50k on them, mostly highway miles, and occasional off road. 38's have about the same and appear to have some more left in them. They are a bit noisy, but any MT is that way. They wear even and ride smooth. Downside, they have large lugs and weigh a good bit (mileage will suffer)

I am a fan of toyos in general.

America's tire is Discount Tire, isn't it? Just different regional names? It's a great company that treats their employees properly and I like how they do things, all the way up the chain to the owner, so I like supporting them.

I really want Toyos, but they're gonna be $1800 mounted from anywhere I can get em, versus $1700 out the door for Nittos at Discount. All online places charge too much for shipping and/or charge for tax, but obviously a website can't install tires on wheels they don't have.
