Default Towed with my f150 for the first time

I was pleased with how it towed. Had no trouble getting up to speed. One thing I did notice was the steering felt light for lack of a better word. Is that normal? Would air bags help?

Looks like too much hitch weight.

What did the trailer weigh? Did you use a weight distribution hitch? What was the tongue weight?

If steering felt light, I'd try moving the tractor back just a bit. You likely have a lot of tongue weight.

Measure front fender height unloaded. Then measure it after loaded and hooked up.

If the difference in height is more than three inches, I'd adjust the load or look at getting a WDH to get some weight back on the front end.

I had to pull the tractor up further than I wanted to to get it to fit.

Looks like you're screwed by your PTO mower. Ideally, you'd want the tractor balanced over the trailer tires. You could try backing on and supporting the cutter.
