My brother is a marine and was stationed in new York I flew out there and loaded his house into a uhaul van and got a full car carrier for his 03 explorer and drove all the way back to Los Angeles it wasnt a problem nice and smooth when I was driving but he had overheated the trans going up a hill and blew some stuff up drive slow and safe man good luck with your trip
