Do it! Visibility around that 8 1/2' trailer will be greatly increased, read that as a safety concern. You'll be surprised how less on the edge of the seat you'll be when going around another vehicle. Those regular mirrors just don't hack it.
Likely opened myself to be flamed, but so be it.
Ever see those idiots with the 2 place enclosed snowmobile trailer, being pulled by an SUV with their stock mirrors? Scary, ain't it!

I put them on mine and never looke back. If you pull a trailer, you'll really like having them

I'll never own a truck without tow mirrors again

Mine came with the standard mirrors, and they worked well enough when towing my equipment trailer. Still have never hooked my enclosed tool trailer, but don't think they'd have worked out. Since, the past summer I put some TT's on, don't regret it, even if I never tow the tool trailer.
All my other trucks had the big mirrors from the start.
I agree, if the choice is there, always get the TT's.

How much farther would you say they stick out past the regular F-150 mirrors, when not pulled out? I've always wondered this as I keep debating back and forth on getting a set or not.

I'm gonna get a set for my 2011. I've used them on other trucks and they are just too good not to have.
