Default Tow mirror extensions on OEM mirrors Comparison

I'm looking for the tow mirrors but not willing to shell out the bucks yet for the OEM telescoping ones. I ran across these and though good reviews, I wanted to ask the forum your thoughts on these and any others you may recommend.

I tried a set of extensions and couldn't stand them. They get the job done but not good enough for me. Springing for a set of used tow mirrors next week!

Thanks,
***** are nice but you can get a set of tow mirrors for between $250-300. The tow mirrors are awesome even for everyday driving!

Amazon had a promo if you sign up for their amazon credit card they were giving a $50 instant gift card. The ***** were $52.99 when I purchased minus the $50 credit I got them for $2.99! Paid that off then canceled the card. Keep an eye out its usually like $10 instant gift card, but sometimes they offer higher.

The ***** are nice, they do the job, and you don't have gigantic mirrors all the time .

I don't tow very often so for me that was another deciding factor for getting the ***** over factory tow mirrors.

Even though they are called "towing mirrors" they make everyday driving much nicer by eliminating blind spots and allowing you to see the bottom rear wheels of the truck which is nice for backing into parking spaces for those without backup cameras. Not sure why some guys only want them for towing. Mine have never felt oversized for daily driving.

I suggest putting out the extra cash (if possible) for a set of OEM mirrors, you'll never regret that

I've got the ****'s, they are pretty inexpensive and work well. I don't like the huge ford tow mirrors for every day driving, so the ****'s are a good compromise.

Thanks,
I used **** on my 06. They were high quality and the swivel capability allowed for fine tuning. **** is a well-known brand.

The Funny thing about the second link is that they are **** mirrors too but $34.00 more.

The OEM mirrors are a bit more, but depending on your wiring that is likely present, you'd also have led turn indicators as well as puddle lamps - which are awesome. You also get incredible visibility difference in both the size of the mirror as well as the wide angle seeing everything from the tire (backing and parallel parking) to essentially right next to you.

I've got ****'s - passenger side is useless, driver side ok, but they're too small really if you're towing a big trailer. Our '13 I made sure was ordered with real towing mirrors. So far...I like 'em. Makes the wife have to slow down to get in the garage too. :-)
