Touchy brakes?

Looks like this has been an ongoing issue with F150s and Ford not doing anything about it.

My 2011 definitely has an aggressive bite or grab to the brakes. You could call them touchy, but they really do have a good pedal feel, if not a bit on the light side.

My 2014 FX4 ecoboost definitely has "touchy" or grabby brakes if I just crank and go with no warm up, really more noticeable when in reverse. The issue I have definitely has nothing to do with rust, it happens within hours of having been driven.
I have a Saturn Sky turbo that acts the same and when I asked dealer about it he told me it was because the brakes are vacuum assist and need time to build up pressure.
Which seems to be the same on the truck, if it's sits and idles for a few minutes the brakes work fine.
Are the brakes on the F150 vacuum assist?
