There's still shock absorber just to help with ride comfort but overall I hate the design. I would much rather have a coilover system. Ford figured out it sucks but lol at Chevy for still usin it

Yea seems an interesting design although not really for a civilian vehicle in a good environment, with good roads and such

Let me say I friggin hate torsion bar. It's exspensive as hell to buy a lift kit for. And I had a 98 ranger. I tightened up the bolt to level the truck cuz the is the only way. And it rode like it had cinder blocks for a front suspension and had no down travel and it eventually destroyed the front end. Every vehicle I look at I make sure it doesn't have them. There is just to much parts and bullsh*t compared to a spring with a shock absorber.

I came back to this thread to see the, what I thought, flame fest the poor nubie would be taking and the thread went in a totally different direction. Very Funny!
