Took an old beat up roll bar and gave it life. What do you think?
Paid $50 to pick this bad boy up and with a little elbow grease and a powder coat this is what I got. Paid way less than that crap you can buy online.

I like it! You don't see rollbars anymore. I guess they went out of style sometime, but i don't care. They still look good to me. Great job reusing something that was going to junk yard.

Honestly I like the classic light bar look the new LED light bars just don't look right to me. The square look just bothers me on such a curved truck. Then it would drive me crazy if I had LED light bars and regular headlights.

Around here they changed laws regarding having lights mounted above the headlamps requiring covers at all times and of course you couldn't be caught using them so that killed it.
I like the look but wouldn't drill holes in my bed or wheel wells to get that look lol

So from personal experience I'd say it is functional if bolted correctly into the frame. Is it better than a "true" roll bar that goes inside the cab? No. The wreck happened in 96 by the way.
