Beating Dead horse and all but ....

I lifted my front 2.5" and the rear 1.5". That spec gets you to leveled 4x4 height, and retains about half of the factory rake.

You could just lift the front 1-1.5" and see how you like that as well if you are a MPG monger.

This is my Lariat with the fx wheels on it with no leveling but my rake doesn't seem nearly as bad. Is the rear suspension different on the FX2?

Default dunno Lasso

There is a clear difference in your rear tire to
wheel well distance, as our pics are similar,
size. I dunno about the suspension dif between
a FX2 v Lariat. I'll have to keep reading......
thx

I just bought my FX2 Sport and it looks just like yours! I was very dissapointed in the look so I tried to make some exterior visual modifications. I took the running boards off and the air dam in the front off. It made it look a little better but I definantly want to add a 1.5" front lift. I've been looking at the supension blocks that you just bolt on and it seems to give the desired effect. If you want I can try and post some pics later...?

I know I am surely in the minority here, and I don't mind a leveled truck. But I actually think some rake makes it look better IMHO, it looks tougher, sportier in my mind. Sort of how dragsters are with the smaller wheels in the front. I also tow trailers, and don't like it sagging. Leveled out seems more like a SUV or car to me.

Default FX2 RAKE , Says Elbo

Once I thought about it, the FX2 Rake is ok for me.
Here's what I did today. I hitched my tilt trailer"
Loaded my Zero turn Ferris mower@ 1000#. Then
Loaded other gear, blowers, trimmers, tools ect. Then
My hitch height lowered 1.50 inches. Yea that's what
I want a truck to do. I'm just prolly 'smitten' by my
New truck. It looks good, but it needs to work......

Thanks Elbo, for the reply.

The suspension may be a little different. If you have a higher tow rating, the factory may have installed a different rear springs. Thats my guess.
