I have a Fold A Cover on the current truck, it won't get but a couple of drops of water in it even after a car wash. Rain has never gotten in yet. I have had the Retrax and Perragon and like the Fold A Cover the best. The Retrax leaked badly and the Perragon leaked worse and is hard to open, especially in extremes of temperature.

Extang has a new Encore model. I don't know how heavy duty it is since it also sits on rails (the strength in the Solid Fold is because it sits ON the rails, not inside them). It looks promising though:

Went ahead and got the BAKFlip. Ran it through the car wash yesterday and maybe a few drops, and I mean droplets! Good to me!

Since I am looking too I hope you don't mind me asking some questions. What version of the BAKFlip did you get? Was it hard to install? Does it seem as secure as you were thinking/hoping? Do you have a pics of where you put the drain tubes? I was wondering where to put them. And I know it has only been a few days but do you still think it was a good purchase?

Sorry for all of the questions.
