I have the American Roll Cover... It is all aluminum... works like a champ and locks when you close it... you can either open it with a key or open the tailgate and pull a lever to open it. if you combine this top with the Pop N lock for the tailgate you now have a remote locking and unlocking cover... very cool.

I dont think you can do that with any of the other covers.

I am leaning towards getting a Truxedo Lo Pro QT. Anyone have any experience? I love the low profile of it, and the fact that it looks like I could put bed rails on the truck because the tonneau doesnt cover teh edges of the bed.

Extang Solid Fold. Removed to haul big items last week. Takes <5min. either way. No fuel economy difference noted.

I love mine. It looks good and works good and is easy to install. The only leaks I have had are a few drops in the corners after a car wash, but no water from just rain. Also you can still put bed rails on with it.

I have an extang solid fold. Absolute horrible cover. I use mine everyday and by the end of the week I have to readjust it because it slides back about half an inch. All the seals have been replaced twice in one year just from deteriorating. The tail gate seal is coming apart. There are plastic end caps which hold the hinges in place between the panels. 1 of them broke. With it broken, I discovered how easy it is for somone to break into this cover. They can just unscrew the end cap and slide out the hinge and the cover will be off in 2 mins. Here's a picture to show what I mean:

AGREED! However you have the old style. The new style has different hinges that are completely water proof. The old style leaked a lot! The new style doesn't leak, just falls apart! JUNK.

The reason, cheap thin gauge aluminum panels that dent and ding added with cheap plastic parts that break. Absolute GARBAGE!

I gave it away when I traded my 2010 today. Finally, the POS is gone.

I also installed a tailgate seal. That keeps most of the dust out of the bed.
How do you like it. I'm most likely going to buy the Extang Classic Platinum which is similar to the Black Max but with metal snaps and permanently attached front seal.

Does it leak at all?? Also hows the fit and how's it holding up. Their Solid Fold sucks big time, made cheap and falls a part.

My vote goes for the Bak F1. super tough, easy to isntall, sits flush, and leaves the bed rails available for stake pocket use. Looks killer too.

I saw maybe a .5 mpg gain with it.
