Default tonneau cover

so i was wondering as i comb thru market place and i see a ton of tonneau covers for sale for 2015's and up i'm just wondering if the beds are really that different ? i mean i have a 6.5' bed on my '13 is a 2015-2019 6.5' bed that much different?

2015:


2015 is 1/2" wider, so I don't think it would fit.

I'm running an '04-'08 cover on my 2011 but the box dimensions between those generations are identical.

Contrary to what the specs above say, several folks on facebook F150 pages say they have gone both ways. Older gen cover on newer truck and vice-versa. But NOT hard fiberglass style that overlap the bedrails. Soft style and trifold seems to be close enough to work. Most covers nowadays don't take very long to install. Just explain to the seller what you're trying to determine. Maybe they'll allow you to test fit before purchase.

thats a good point. personally the hard flip ones kind a suck as normally that last piece doesn't flip up on some.

You have to get the 6.5' the 4.5 will not fit.

I had a 6.5 bakflip on both my 09 and 16, both fit, same cover.
